Working on a special .25 caliber magazine for the FX2000 Pre-Charged Pneumatic rifle. Seen here, the magazine is having the indexing cutouts machined for the indexing pawl to advance it after each shot. The material is heat treated aluminium billet and is much harder than the original which is a lightweight casting.

Of course, CNC machining would be the way forward if we were making a production run but we are making a one off. Manual machining, although time consuming, is the quickest route for this component at this time.

This is not a component we manufacture and have as a stock item but is a good example of the type of component our customers request. Because we have the capability, producing this type of part is a regular occurrence.
